Stopped caring two hours in Revelations after finishing 2 and Brotherhood.
Too much of the same, too soon.

AC3 was different than the others. Had hunting, ship battles, animals, outdoors/rock/tree climbing, guns. This is going to add more new things.

I don't like the one game a year formula they adopted; I feel as if development is rushed and even though the game is good it could be much better. I
I'm excited though, and we better be able to ride some fucking giant seahorses

After Ezio's story ended and seeing how rushed and bloated with lackluster content ACIII was, I gave up on the AC series. This once a year timing is making the series seem more like a chore. Assassin's Creed 2 is STILL the best because Ubisoft didn't rush that game and wanted it to be perfect.

Explore an Open world Filed With Opportunities – Discover the largest and most diverse Assassin’s Creed (Like every other game) world ever created. From Kingston to Nassau, explore 50 unique locations (Probably will be tiny cities) where you can live the life of a pirate including: Loot underwater shipwrecks, assassinate Templars in blossoming cities, hunt for rare animals in untamed jungles, search for treasure in lost ruins and escape to hidden coves. (Ocean will be in separate rendered sections)
Become the Most Feared Pirate in the Caribbean – Command your ship, the Jackdaw, and strike fear in all who see her. (Unless it's a desperate shitty guard AI) Plunder and pillage to upgrade the Jackdaw with ammunition and equipment needed to fight off enemy ships.(LoZ Phantom Hourglass?) The ship`s improvements are critical to Edward` s progression through the game. Attack and seamlessly board massive galleons, recruit sailors to join your crew (Might end up like recruiting the brotherhood in AC: Brotherhood) and embark on an epic and infamous adventure.

Re: Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag trailer. Opinion?
Ummm... You guys do realize that Ubisoft began work on AC3 IMMEDIATELY after making AC2 right? No? The reason AC2 seems so great to everyone was because it was such a step up from the previous game. It had a character with a backstory, vastly improved fighting mechanics, a real plot and the repetitive nature was non-existant. We watched Ezio grow into not only an assassin, but a man. Anything after that couldn't impress us as much simply because the developers didn't have enough they could improve upon. They continually refine the game with each new entry into the series, but it's virtually impossible to give the game the same story boost as was seen with the second, because we've already seen it once before.
AC4 has been in development since mid 2011, so this whole deal with thinking it's rushed because they come out with a new title every year is nonsense.
Just felt I should clear this up.
Good day!
