fuck...amazon.

It's great that they have such awesome web hosting. It's not so great that it's so popular that when the amazon servers go down it takes out HALF THE INTERNET. (including the MC login servers so if you can't connect right now that's why. Hopefully they fix it soon.

It's not just amazon. A lot of people aren't sure what's going on, but TONS of popular websites are shut down at the moment.

Amazon's EC-2 servers crashed. Anyone that uses those servers are down as well.
Gamefaqs, Reddit, Instagram, Pinterest, and Minecraft all got hit. TONS of other domains are down as well. Last time this happened, Netflix went out, so they might be down now too.

Essentially, almost everyone uses Amazon's cloud server software, and when that software crashes, everything goes with it. The worst part is that Heroku, another domain hosting site, runs off EC-2, so they're down as well. It's creating a massive ripple effect.

You're asking if I logged into your account and stole your stuff? No, I can't even figure out how to log in.

Most of us log in as ''Player'', including me. So yes, basically everyone is logging in as the same player with the same inventory.
