A letter to Lord Sirrus the VII, King of Yggdrasil
Old friend,
Long ago, in the time when our land was known as westeros, A great war raged.
The armies of Our glorious leader, King Sirrus the Farmer, the first in the long line
of Your family's rule. As the legend tells, the Mongooses where their enemies, with the infamous JJ the terrible as their leader. After the battle of Mongoose manor, the members of his council where hunted and killed, along with their families. Some may have slipped through the cracks, appearantly...
A decendant of the mongoose scum has uncovered his identity, and is trying to revive the rebellion, and he has help. The Assassin order has all but dissapeared since the great war, and some say they never existed. But they like it that way.
they've infiltrated our ranks, and the Mongooses have struck a deal with them. the assassins will be aiding them in their
betrayal of the crown, as they suspect you to be of the templar order. Several of your barons are members of the order, and have already turned, marching their forces under the mongoose flag, with several other fiefs being taken by the rebels. They have nearly half the kingdom under their control now, and you must lead the charge to crsh them, or this castle may be the site of the next battle.
A meeting has been set up, however, in a village on the borders of your territory and theirs. the rebelleaders will be there, and this may be your chance to finish this with no bloodshed.
I sincerely hope you will attend.
-Your trusted advisor,
Matthew "Bobby" Hunter.
So, this is my idea for the story of ghis. all out war will be set off at a meeting of the leaders of the 3 factions, JJ, Sirrus, and I, at the town that will be the faction world spawn. all initial faction joining will take place from there. thoughts?

Re: A letter to Lord Sirrus the VII, King of Yggdrasil
LOL I love it!
Oh, wait... *goes into RP mode*
---
In a small bout of anger, Lord Sirrus stands from his nether brick chair and slams the now crumpled letter onto his obsidian desk.
Sirrus: Fools, the lot of them... Mongooses are like Creepers: No sooner you amass a great empire does one show its ugly face and tear it all down.
Sirrus looks up from the note to across the desk, looking directly at the empty chair on the other side.
Sirrus: Advisor Hunter seems to think this meeting will be an opportunity to handle things peacefully. All things considered, I believe this is their cry, they HOPE we'll handle it peacefully. They fear the alternative... as they should. What're your thoughts, Lord Carver?
In a plume of smoke the figure of Lord Carver VII appears as though from thin air, sitting relaxed in the chair, as though without a care in the world.
Carver: Personally I would hope their intentions are honest and pure. But this is several generations of loathing we're talking about. No matter his intentions now, soon as this new Mongoose leader sees your face it may all change in an instant. And with the Assassins possibly backing him...
Carver scoffs, then smirks as he gets to his feet.
Carver: While we've stood comfortable at the top, this new leader has become hardened in his plight to meet you. If anything, I think it's you who should hope this is dealt with minus bloodshed, because he's every right to be out for yours.
As Carver turns to leave, Sirrus' hand grabs his shoulder.
Sirrus: And where do you think you're going? Should he break me, he'll go after the descendants of my ancestor's co-horts. That includes you.
Carver slowly turns to face Sirrus, surprised to see him grinned back at him despite the tone.
Sirrus: But have no fear, Lord Carver...
Reaching into his inner jacket pocket, Sirrus produces a small handful of glowing green Ender Pearls, showing them to Carver.
Sirrus: It's a totally different war now.
---
Anyway, yeah I like the idea.

If this meeting is ever going to happen for the sake of roleplay, we should wait a minecraft week for everyone to set up a home and for mongooses to create their territory.

In my mind (and correct me if I'm wrong bobby) this event is more to kick off the new world, starting it with three fresh factions all coming in with a three-way rivalry, as a sort of "show em how it's done" for everyone else. Gameplay-wise, I think this should take place before any factions have established any base, out of fairness.FSCarver wrote:Pfft in the meantime S86Farms will have taken over the world already.
