The problem with over banning and deoping

I say hlot needs to set more rules about banning before i got banned alot of people were getting banned kicked being hated and just plain everything was being unfair thats why I left i say no one person can get banned at once u need a logical reason to ban him and u need proof before banning like use actual proof not just I heard or i read someone did somthing it needs to be u actualy read it at /lb area and if u gonna deop some one ask hlot firstand present the reasons anyone agree with me on this leave a post agreeing b/c when i was last on it was more like a communist gov. consisting of ohh i dont like you /ban ___ reason: none or I dont feel u should be op anymore and that was it just on peoples own judge ment u get banned i beleave there should be some sort of democrocy like trunks had when he was the anti griefer but he has turned since then and i did go down that road too and promise to never do that again.

Jamie, I see where you are coming from, but this makes no sense. The only person I know to have been deoped (I use the term loosely) is CRAZZY_Beast, and that was within reason. Everyone else who has been deoped has been done so by Heylook and Heylook alone.

We also have a strong policy on banning. Clown, Carver, JJ, Link, and all the other mods and admins are not supposed to ban unless:
1) we are being attacked by hordes of hackers, spammers, griefers, Team AvO. etc.
2) another mod or admin has agreed with the ban and sufficient logblocking has been done on the afflicted area
3) the person (who may or may not have done something inclusive of the top two) is a general nuisance on the server and many people complain about him or her

I don't think banning has been an issue either, with the exception of maybe one corrupt mod (who was demodded). The rules above are followed for the most part by all mods, and those who don't follow said rules and are caught in the action are warned.

I also hate to call you out on this, but what you said was "communist" of the server is wrong, since that isn't how communism works. You are talking more or less about a totalitarian oligarchy sort of thing.
For your banning (and classes too), I've asked to have both of you unbanned, and I hope that heylook will fall through with this, since you two were some of the greatest on the server. It really is out of my hands at this moment, friend.

I usually ban on my own without others opinions because of these things.

1) Well hlot told me to
2) I only ban for an actual reason, Crazzy would be banned thrice a day if I didn't
3) You did something bad like griefing and I caught you..... class
4) You got banned for the same reason before
5) complete and total ass-hat for which nobody can stand

Deoping:
1) you did something
2) Total jerk

Also Ujst, I told them not to ban Crazzy last night for a stupid reason. And I'd make sure to enforce penalties *whips out suit and tie* if they do unjust
